Most days run on written updates, not standing meetings, and there's no timesheet theatre. We're a small, senior team, and you're judged on what shipped — not on hours a spreadsheet says you logged.
The toolkit
Slack for the day-to-day, Linear for the work itself, Figma for design, GitHub for code. Nothing exotic — we'd rather you spend your first week working than learning a bespoke stack.

Work from anywhere
Genuinely anywhere, as long as your day overlaps 4+ hours with US Eastern or UK time — enough for a real conversation when one's actually needed, without asking anyone to work through their night.
Senior, self-directed, and clear on paper.
We’re not looking for people to manage closely. We’re looking for people who take a vague brief, ask the right questions, and come back with something better than what was asked for — then write it down clearly enough that nobody has to guess what happened or why.
That means senior enough to work without a daily check-in, comfortable showing work in progress rather than only a polished reveal, and genuinely curious about the person on the other end of what we build. If that’s not you yet, that’s fine — it’s just not this team yet either.

Intro call
A conversation, not an interrogation — what you've done, what you're looking for, and what we're actually like day to day.
Portfolio or code walkthrough
Walk us through something you're proud of, and something that didn't go to plan. We usually learn more from the second one.
Paid trial task
A real, scoped piece of work at $X, your normal rate. You keep the pay whether or not it leads anywhere — a fair trade for a better decision on both sides.
Offer
If it's a fit, we say so quickly and put it in writing. If it isn't, you'll hear that plainly too.
We reply to every application within X business days — including the ones that end in “not this time.”
