How we work.
No surprises. That's the process.
Every project — a logo, a store, an ERP, an AI pilot — runs on the same spine: understand, agree in writing, show work early, deliver on the date, stay accountable after. Here's what that looks like from your side of the table.
From first call to launch, in five stages.
Listen
A 20-minute call. You talk, we ask. What you're trying to achieve, what's in the way, what "worth it" looks like in a year. If we're not the right fit — wrong skill, wrong budget, wrong timing — we say so on this call and, where we can, point you somewhere better.
Scope
Within three business days you get a written proposal: what we'll build, what it costs (a fixed figure, not an estimate), how long it takes, what we need from you, and what's deliberately left out. The out list matters — vague scope is where agency projects go to die.
Design and build
Work starts on an agreed date, not "when we get to it". You see real progress weekly — screens, staging links, campaign drafts — and feedback lands while things are still cheap to change. Decisions get written down the day they're made.
Test and deliver
Nothing ships untested: devices, browsers, speed, tracking, accessibility, the checkout, the form, the edge cases. You review against the scope, we fix what's not right, and launch happens at a quiet hour with us watching.
Stand behind it
Every project includes 30 days of post-launch support for anything that isn't as scoped. After that, a monthly retainer if you want us on call — or a clean, documented handover if you don't. Either way, you hold the keys.
You'll always know where your project stands.
One person owns it.
Your lead — the specialist who scoped the work — is your single point of contact from kickoff to launch. No relay race.
A weekly note, every week.
What moved, what's next, what we need from you, anything at risk. Five minutes to read. If something threatens the date, you hear it from us first — early, with options, not in the final week.
Calls in your working day.
We work US Eastern and UK hours. Kickoffs, reviews and check-ins land in your morning or afternoon, on video, recorded if you want them.
The deal works both ways.
From you
- A decision-maker in the reviews
- Feedback within 3 business days (the schedule assumes it; if life happens, the date moves with it — transparently)
- Content and access when agreed
- One consolidated voice when several stakeholders have opinions
From us
- Fixed price honoured even when we've underestimated our own effort
- Scope changes priced in writing before they're built, never invoiced as a surprise
- Work-in-progress you can see any week
- A straight answer when something isn't working — including when it's our fault
The unglamorous parts, done properly.
Quality
Design reviewed against the brief, not taste. Code reviewed before it merges. Speed budgets (Core Web Vitals), accessibility to WCAG 2.1 AA, real-device testing. A pre-launch checklist we actually run, every time.
Security and privacy
Least-privilege access to your systems, credentials in a vault (never in email), GDPR-conscious data handling on every build, and NDAs signed on request before you share a thing.
Ownership
Code, designs, source files, domains, hosting, analytics, ad accounts, data: yours, registered in your name, from day one. Full IP assignment on final payment is written into our terms. If you ever want to leave, the handover is documented and quick — being easy to leave is why clients stay.
Fixed prices, three ways to engage.
Most projects run as a fixed-price project: scope, price, date, in writing. Ongoing work — marketing, maintenance, AI operations — runs as a monthly retainer, month-to-month after an initial term. Larger product builds can run with a dedicated team at a flat monthly rate. Deposits are 50% to book a start date, with the balance on completion (milestones on larger projects). Every figure you’ll see on this site is a real starting price, not bait. See Pricing & Engagement →
See it for yourself.
The process starts with a conversation that costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Twenty minutes, straight answers, a written proposal within three business days.
